The publication is divided into two parts: the first features three essays and two book excerpts, while the second presents a catalog of over 150 pages showcasing book covers and spreads. A background color distinguishes these sections, complemented by variations in text size and overall page composition. The design pairs ITC Century Std—a classical typeface that nods to Mallarmé’s original poem—with ABC Whyte, a contemporary font that places his work in the context of modern appropriations.
