Developed as one of the Master in Editorial Design's final projects at Elisava School of Design and Engineering, this book examines how pandemics, design, and architecture have shaped the way we live. Rather than rationalizing the current pandemic or speculating on its direct impact, it offers a broader, historical discourse through which we may reflect on the present.

The acetate sleeve around the cover symbolizes the need for a protective barrier, echoing the safety measures imposed during the 2020 COVID pandemic. The color orange was chosen as a deliberate contrast to the 'sterile' white often associated with hospitals and unsick spaces. The chosen typefaces—Sabon by Linotype and Gordita by Type Atelier—create a dialogue between the 'old' and the 'new,' reflecting the impact of pandemics throughout history.
