Sideline was developed as one of the final projects for the Master in Editorial Design at Elisava School of Design and Engineering. It is a periodical publication dedicated to collect and amplify voices that have historically fought against oppressive systems. Each issue examines a specific oppressive system from a global, non-Eurocentric perspective. By connecting past struggles with present realities, the content highlights pathways toward future possibilities. Sideline aims to deconstruct, decolonize, and decentralize ways of thinking by fostering conversations around these urgent topics.
The cover design features a modular system, allowing each issue to have a unique typographic expression while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
This is not a commercial project. Photographs, illustrations and texts included in the magazine belong to their respective authors and are used here for illustrative purposes only.
